●Author profile:
Born in the United States. Professor of International College of Liberal Arts (ICLA), Yamanashi Gakuin University. He is a 10th dan in Japanese calligraphy from the All Japan Calligraphy Association, vice president of the All Japan Educational Calligraphy Association, and an 8th dan in Yushin Kai Ki Do. Handwriting advisor to the Japan Association of Handwriting Diagnosticians. Special Master of the Nanba-jutsu Association. He is also the chairman of the International Committee of the International Iaido Federation Hogyokukai (Nidan). He is a commentator for "TE TE TE TV" broadcast in Yamanashi, and a reporter for NHK World Journeys in Japan.

NHK World Journeys in Japan Reporter. He studied under Craig Valentine and became the world's first certified World Class Speaking Coach in 2009. He has also participated in the world's largest samurai parade, the Shingenkyo Festival, wearing his own handmade armor, along with other international students, to share the beauty of Japanese culture both in Japan and abroad. He is the author of "The World's Best Presentation Technique" (KADOKAWA/Kadokawa Shoten). He is also the author of the DVD "Nanba Taijutsu no Nyumon" (Introduction to Nanba Body Techniques). He also appears in the DVDs "The Real Nanba Walking" and "Introduction to Mugeiryu Iai" (all published by BAB Japan).
